We are looking for a full-time physician to join our team in the Emergency Department at Florida Hospital-Altamonte in Altamonte Springs, Florida. Our 400-bed facility features a 53-bed ED, taking care of approximately 90,000 ED patients annually. We provide 64 hours of physician coverage, 49 hours of APC coverage daily, along with offering scribe coverage to both our physicians and APCs. With the majority of sub-specialties represented at Altamonte Springs, the patients admitted to the observation unit or inpatient services from the ED have the ability to stay local. Florida Hospital System does have a one-call transporting within the system, which allows for easy transports to Florida Hospital Orlando for our patients requiring additional support in the neurosurgical and pediatric fields, along with all trauma cases being transferred to the local trauma center in Orlando.
