Adventist Health Medical Center - Portland is currently seeking a full-time Family Medicine physician to join our supportive and collaborative Urgent Care Rockwood team. The clinic is in a busy eastside Portland location and serves a diverse population. Job Details: · Perform a wide variety of clinical services including treatment of acute episodic conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, lacerations, incision and drainage, injuries and minor infections. · Perform Occupational Medicine Services (pre-employment physicals, drug screenings, etc.) · 100% out-patient clinic · Work schedule includes 8 or 11-hour shifts with an average of 2 patient contacts per hour · The clinic offers on-site laboratory and x-ray Qualifications: · 2-3 years practicing as a Family Medicine Physician strongly preferred but will consider new graduates with ED experience · Current Oregon license · Current non-limited DEA · DOT Certification preferred. · The ideal candidate will be open to serving underserved, low-income and mental health patient populations.
