The Family Medicine Residency Program at St. Mary's Medical Center on Colorado's Western Slope in Grand Junction seeks additional faculty member to join their collegial, well-established faculty practice of 12 physicians as part of program expansion.  St. Mary's Medical Center is the largest medical center on the Western Slope of Colorado. This 350-bed hospital serves as a primary and referral hospital for an area of more than a quarter million square miles encompassing parts of four states. The Faculty and Residents are an integral part of this region's patient care. 
  • The Family Medicine Center is a Level III Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH), located in a large facility (29,700 sq. ft.), specially designed for the residency program and is walking distance from the hospital. The center includes 34 exam rooms with designated rooms for minor surgery, fetal monitoring, ultrasound, gynecologic procedures, patient education, counseling and a spacious precepting area.
  • Academic appointment commensurate with experience.  The highly sought St. Mary’s Family Medicine Residency has 26 residents and two Medical Family Therapy fellows.
  • Reasonable schedule and “cream of the crop” residents make this a unique opportunity to practice everything you were trained to do.
  • Candidates with interest in this physician opportunity must be BC Family Medicine and have three years’ practice experience.  
  • Experience/interest in obstetrics required.
