Geisinger is seeking a BC/BE Rheumatologist to join our growing department at Geisinger-Patton Forest Clinic in State College, PA. The ideal candidate will be a superb clinician who is patient-centric, dedicated to service and quality, and wishes to have a balanced lifestyle.

The Rheumatology Department in State College includes 2 physicians and a nurse practitioner. The department is based in our State College office (Patton Forest), but also perform outreach services to nearby Geisinger Groups including Lewistown, Philipsburg and Huntingdon. We see a wide variety of Rheumatic conditions and have an active Osteoporosis program (High Risk Osteoporosis Clinic: HiROC), interpret DXA scans and recently added Musculoskeletal Ultrasound to the practice.

 

Position boasts minimal call/consults as well as interaction with the system wide, Academic Rheumatology Department through fellow conference, journal club, and grand rounds via teleconference.

 - Includes an excellent osteoporosis practice that utilizes a Mobile DXA service

- Services at Patton Forest include Musculoskeletal Ultrasound
