Physician

TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Physician to join our Emergency Department team in this busy community facility at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, Georgia. Our 40-bed ED at St. Francis Hospital has an annual volume of 70,000 and a separate Fast Track. We provide 49 hours of Physician coverage, and 60 hours of Advanced Practice Clinician coverage. Enjoy state-of-the-art equipment including voice activated chart dictation, and Medhost EMR. All sub-specialties are seen except for Pediatrics and Burns. Pediatric cases go to The Medical Center, and full radiology services are offered up until 5 pm with tele-radiology available after hours. We ask that you be ABEM or AOBEM certified, with Emergency Medicine training or experience.

St. Francis Hospital is a 376-bed facility offering a full range of inpatient, outpatient and emergency room services, including the area’s only open heart surgery program. In addition to high quality cardiac care. St. Francis has an outstanding orthopedic care center, top notch surgical services, pain management and spine center, women’s health care services and a mental health facility.
