An emergency department in Arizona needs an emergency medicine physician who is able to provide locum tenens coverage on an ongoing basis. This is a level three trauma center where the locum can expect to see patients of all ages for highly acute injuries, blunt trauma, penetrating injuries, boating accidents, and other general emergency medicine needs. This facility typically sees 26k patients per year where the locum can expect to see a patient volume around 1.6 per hour. Shifts worked on this assignment will be 12-hours long (7am - 7 pm or 7pm - 7am) and the locum can expect to work 4 - 12 such shifts per month. Applicants for this position should be either board eligible or board certified with previous ER experience.
