Well Renowned Psychiatry Group seeks full-time or half-time adult psychiatrists to add to its first rate psychiatry staff. The Psychiatrist would join a 9 person group practice caring for 112 patients on the Department of Mental Health inpatient Psychiatry units. We provide continuing inpatient care to DMH-eligible patients transferred from acute psychiatric units, and also evaluate and treat criminal defendants for the courts. No mandatory weekend or night call, no managed care. The psychiatrist group is energetic, well trained, welcoming and very collegial. Most have trained in Boston-area psychiatric residency programs, including the Harvard/Cambridge Hospital and the Harvard / Longwood programs, and about half of the current psychiatrists maintain some level of academic involvement with their training programs.
