The Department of Radiology at the Hofstra/Northwell School of Medicine is recruiting for additional fellowship trained Neuro Radiologists to join the Division of Emergency Radiology. This is a full-time faculty position at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level.

The division is currently compromised of 15 faculty members covering off hours radiology for the system’s tertiary hospitals and expanding community hospital network including three level I, two level II trauma centers, and a children's hospital.  Candidates would be expected to work a 7nights on, 14 days off schedule. The Emergency Radiology division was established in 2011 and has rapidly grown as the health system and radiology department continue to expand in the greater NY area.  The Emergency Radiology division performs approximately 100,000 cross sectional examinations per year and provides in-house consultation for the emergency department, trauma team, and related specialty services.

Primary responsibilities for this position would include, but not limited to, diagnostic interpretation of imaging performed through the emergency department and urgent inpatient imaging including CT, US, MRI and plain films, as well as, clinical supervision of residents at our tertiary sites.

Salary Disclosure

Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125K to $750K, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience and productivity. The base compensation range listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
