A facility in Arkansas is looking to bring on a locum tenens pediatric hospitalist physician for 10 shifts a month. The hospital has a level 2 nursery and the physician will be admitting 3-6 patients a day, rounding on 30 beds - 22 newborn and 8 sick beds. Census is about 7. They will be the only physician on staff, but have backup resources such as an on call general surgeon and respiratory therapists. Codes will be handled by their rapid response team.
