Medical Director, Memorial Hospital of Union County, Marysville, Ohio

Leadership opportunity for a Medical Director to join our Hospital Medicine team full-time at Memorial Hospital of Union County in Marysville, Ohio. The right candidate will have HM Leadership experience and will work administratively and clinically as a Hospitalist. Duties and responsibilities include: working with the Vice President of Operations (VPO) and Regional Medical Director (RMD) to facilitate the effective delivery of client support initiatives such as Patient Satisfaction and Operational Improvement, Risk Management and Continuing Medical Education; overseeing the development of quality incentive plans for and support of the physicians in reaching quality objectives, including but not limited to core measures, length of stay, cost-per-case, and case mix index; working with division leadership to assure and maintain compliance with the operating budget; assisting with recruitment and interviewing of all program staff; scheduling responsibilities for the program; orienting all new providers; and other duties required by RMD and VPO. Physicians at this established hospital medicine program manage patients on the regular floor and ICU. Schedule is 7-on/7-off. TeamHealth offers an excellent base salary, and performance bonus.
