Premier outpatient mental health center located in Littleton, Massachusetts is seeking a FT/PT Psychiatrist to join a busy practice. Our collaborative approach focuses on promoting the understanding of mental illness and removal of the stigma associated with mental health. Our center strives to bridge the gaps in the current mental health system by facilitating easy access to quality care to children, adolescents, and families dealing with emotional and behavioral disorders. Inpatient Psychiatry Opportunities

Exciting opportunity to join the psychiatry department at Emerson Hospital, a vibrant community hospital located in historic Concord, Massachusetts. You will join a group of four full-time psychiatrists, primary responsibilities include:

• Treatment of patients on our 31-bed locked inpatient unit
• Consultation on psychiatrically ill patients on the medical units and collaboration with our medical colleagues
• Back-up for our increasingly busy Emergency Services
• Outpatient Addictions Rehabilitation Program 
• Weekend, weeknight, and holiday call in rotation
• Opportunity for limited private practice available
• Additional income from moonlighting

Unique opportunity for board eligible/board certified psychiatrist or psychiatric RNCS to join strong psychiatric service at Emerson Hospital. Resident with appropriate certification and program approval also considered. Provide moonlighter coverage between 4pm Friday and 5pm Sunday. In-hospital time varies depending on the number of admissions and consultations. Overnight call is home-call only, except for rare emergency visits to the hospital for seclusion/restraint. Continuous back up support provided by full-time psychiatrist who rounds on existing patients. Highly competitive moonlighting compensation, potential compensation $2,000 per day/$4,000 weekend.
