Department of Gastrointestinal Medical Oncology
The Department of Gastrointestinal Medical Oncology is recruiting for a full-time faculty member at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, Clinical Faculty Appointment that specializes in clinical care of patients with gastrointestinal cancers. This is a non-tenure track position. Academic ranking will commensurate with experience.
The primary responsibilities of his position will be clinical in nature but the candidate should have a strong interest in participating in clinical research and instructional/educational activities for the department.
Required Qualifications:
MD or MD/PhD degree
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Medical Oncology or related field
Board Eligible or Licensed by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners
Certification in Basic Life Support or Advanced Cardiac Life Support
Strongly Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in GI Cancer management
