Confluence Health/Wenatchee Valley Medical Group in Wenatchee, WA is recruiting a Rehabilitation Medicine Physician with a clinical focus on Neuro-rehabilitation. BE/BC in Physiatry is required. You will have the opportunity to treat patients with ongoing rehabilitation medicine needs by working in conjunction with our Acute Rehabilitation Hospitalist for continuity of care for patients upon discharge from the inpatient rehab unit. You will provide inpatient attending acute rehabilitation Hospital coverage at the Wenatchee Valley Hospital approximately 10-12 weeks/year as needed to assist the primary Acute Rehabilitation Hospitalist.

The combined inpatient and outpatient population will focus on post-stroke care, post amputation care, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, spasticity evaluation and treatment, Clinical Electromyography, and intrathecal BACLOFEN pump management. You will also create and direct an outpatient concussion management program in conjunction with emergency services and primary care providers to serve the greater Confluence Health service area.

The work week will be M-F; 8am-5pm. An after-hours and weekend coverage network will be developed by the PM&R department to provide emergency assistance for inpatients in the acute rehab facility and for established outpatients.

The nine-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit at Wenatchee Valley Hospital is accredited by CARF International and is ranked in the top 10 percent of over 800 inpatient facilities nationally for providing high quality care. We also recently became CARF certified for our Stroke Rehabilitation and JCHO certified for our acute inpatient stroke program.
