New York Methodist Hospital, part of the New York Presbyterian Healthcare System and affiliate of Weill Cornell Medicine, seeks a highly motivated academic Infectious Diseases Physician to lead the section of Infectious Diseases. This position would include an academic faculty appointment at Weill Cornell Medical College. The faculty member would actively participate in didactics including teaching Internal Medicine residents and participating in research. The ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications: Interest and expertise in Infectious Diseases; Board Certified in Infectious Diseases; Eligible for faculty appointment at Weill Cornell Medical College. The selected candidate will serve as Chief of the Division and will help expand our research and clinical programs in collaboration with Weill Cornell Medicine. It is expected that the faculty would have dedicated Infectious Diseases clinics, work closely with other faculty and residents, lead the Infectious Diseases Consult Service, and participate in the antibiotic stewardship program.
