The Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology, at Stanford University invites applications for a faculty position at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level to conduct clinical research in malignant hematology. Candidates should have an MD or MD/PhD and be hematology and/or medical oncology board certified or eligible. Demonstrated ability to conduct clinical research is expected. The position is in the Medical Center Line (MCL). Faculty rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.

The major criteria for appointment for faculty in the MCL shall be excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, clinical teaching, scholarly activity that advances clinical medicine, and institutional service—appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill.
In addition to clinical research, the successful candidate will participate in the inpatient, outpatient, and consultation services of the Division. Candidates must have experience with the care of patients with acute leukemias.
