WCHN is currently seeking Acute Care/Trauma Surgeons to work in the acute care/trauma surgery department. The ideal candidates will be open to working a full-time, variable 24-hour shift that includes weekends. Candidates will be BE/BC in critical care surgery and have an active interest in surgical education, as we have our own General Surgery Residency and frequently host Medical Students from an affiliated regional medical school. Responsibilities will include: coverage of acute care surgery/trauma within the Network, teaching residents and students, and conducting research as required. Preferred Qualifications: We are seeking individuals with formal fellowship training in Acute Care/Trauma/Critical Care, although this is not required to qualify.
