We are seeking a board certified Internist or Family Practitioner to oversee clinical care and the growth of urgent care for our APG primary care practices. This leadership position has clinical and administrative duties; the Director will work every third weekend and four nights per week (or another mutually agreed upon schedule that averages 20-30 hours per week of direct patient care). The administrative duties will be fulfilled during the weekdays with flexible scheduling. The major responsibilities include ensuring the highest quality of clinical care for urgent care visits for both children and adults. The Director will also have close coordination with primary care providers, ensure consistent documentation for all clinic communications, and monitor relationships with the hospital ancillary testing, ED, and specialty care departments as needed. The Director will also provide quarterly chart reviews of all AHC doctors and nurses to ensure consistency, train new providers, and oversee clinical staff assignments. As AHC grows, the Director may take on duties including developing protocols and work flow models as well as work with APG leadership on fiscal viability, growth, quality, mission, and patient satisfaction.
