MEDICAL DIRECTOR AND PRIMARY CARE PHYSICIANS

For Katy and Tomball, Texas. The Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center and Baylor College of Medicine are recruiting for physician Medical Directors and Primary Care Physicians for Katy and Tomball VA Outpatient Clinics. The clinics' focus will be to provide Primary Care, Women's Health, Mental Health, and Specialty services. The Directors will report directly to the Associate Chief of Staff of Community Based Outpatient Clinics at the Michael E. DeBakey VAMC, and the staff physicians will report to the Medical Directors. Physician positions must be board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Practice with primary care experience. The highly qualified Director candidate will have both clinical and administrative executive experience. The Directors' responsibilities will include clinical responsibilities, administration of clinic staff, and coordination of the overall performance of the clinic. The staff physicians will be responsible for a panel of patients and clinical oversight of physician extenders.
