  Geisinger Health System is currently seeking BC/BE Family Medicine and/or Internal Medicine physicians to join its Urgent Care team at Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre, a campus of Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, located in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.

 

At Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre (GSWB), practice state of the art medicine with on-site radiology and lab services available, and an integrated electronic medical record system accessible at the bedside. Maintain an excellent work-life balance with no call responsibilities, and support through Geisinger’s extensive network of primary and specialty care physicians and resources. Provide direct patient care to all ages and demographics in an urgent care setting and support the hospital’s new short stay unit.

 

Geisinger Health System serves nearly 3 million people in central, south-central and northeast Pennsylvania and is nationally recognized for innovative practices and quality care.  A mature electronic health record connects a comprehensive network of 9 hospital campuses, 43 community practice sites and more than 1,200 Geisinger primary and specialty care physicians.
