The Division of Cardiology in the Department of Medicine is looking to hire a clinical electrophysiologist at the Assistant/Associate Professor level. Required qualifications include MD or MD/PhD, board certification in Internal Medicine, and board certification/eligibility in Cardiovascular Diseases and Cardiac Electrophysiology. Applicants must have proven experience and expertise in advanced ablation techniques for atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia with a demonstrated commitment to innovative clinical research. To qualify for appointment as an Associate Professor, the candidate must meet the criteria established by the School of Medicine (School of Medicine's Criteria for Appointment, Promotion and Tenure). The Division of Cardiology in the Department of Medicine is looking to hire a clinical electrophysiologist at the Assistant/Associate Professor level to perform advanced ablation techniques for artrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia. Stony Brook University Medical Center is a >600-bed tertiary care medical state-of-the-art facility, located on the north shore of Long Island, providing cardiovascular care to the 1.4 million residents of Long Island.
