NON INVASIVE CARDIOLOGY - GEISINGER MEDICAL CENTER

  The Geisinger Heart & Vascular Institute (GHVI) at Geisinger Medical Center (GMC), located in Danville, Pa., is seeking a BC/BE Clinical Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join an integrated, multi-specialty group practice.

About the Position

·         Join a system-wide team of 8 cardiovascular surgeons, 4 thoracic surgeons, 11 vascular surgeons and 41 cardiologists supported by 49 advanced practitioners

·         Program features include academic-style inpatient services and clinics with 15 general cardiology fellows, internal medicine house staff, advanced practitioners, and specialized fellowships in advanced imaging and interventional cardiology.  Services include TAVR, complex arrhythmia ablation, and the full range of coronary, vascular and other structural heart interventions.  The echo lab is IAC-accredited and provides interventional imaging services. 

·         Research opportunities abound and research is encouraged.

·         Cardiology department members participate in Geisinger Health System-wide initiatives, leadership of the internal medicine residency program, and national societies.
