The Department of Surgery, Division of Cardiovascular Surgery at Temple University School of Medicine is seeking an academically-oriented adult cardiovascular surgeon whose clinical expertise includes the full spectrum of minimally invasive and robotic procedures.

The division has experienced significant clinical growth in all specialty areas and continues to expand its services into suburban partner sites. The new faculty member will have exposure to the division’s busy transplant programs and will benefit from the mentorship of the experienced and accomplished faculty. The Department of Surgery offers potential candidates a uniquely supportive practice environment with an emphasis on quality patient care, research, teaching, individual career development, and collegiality among faculty members.

Applicants must possess an MD or DO, BE/BC by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery is preferred, and must be in possession of or eligible for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Candidates must qualify for a faculty appointment at the minimum level of Assistant Professor. Additionally, it is preferred that applicants be active participants in local and national organizations such as the Society of Thoracic Surgeons and the American Association for Thoracic Surgery.
