The Research Associate will provide professional, substantive and technical support in the design, implementation, operations and dissemination of findings from research, demonstration and evaluation projects.

The Research Associate position is an entry-level investigator position, intended for the following candidates: recent doctoral graduates; individuals with substantial research experience perhaps a relevant Master's degree and who are currently pursuing a relevant doctoral degree; and individuals with a relevant Master's degree or equivalent who have demonstrated capability as an investigator.

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

A. RESEARCH: (75%-90%)

 

Directs day-to-day scientific work on research projects.

Responsible for research design and protocol development under the direction of a Senior Investigator and pursuing independent funding for research projects.

Analyzes research findings and disseminates in journals and presents at scientific meetings. Represents CHRRA to health care and scientific communities.

 

B. CONSULTING/ADVISING: (10%-25%)

Provides technical assistance in service to other departments in GHS. Serves on CHRRA committees.

C. Performs other duties as required or assigned by emergency or other operational reasons for which the employee is qualified to perform. 

 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Masters Degree in health care, research, health economics, or policy field with relevant experience designing, conducting, or overseeing research project activities.
