Associate Medical Director
Dartmouth-Hitchcock, ACO West

In collaboration with the Vice President, Medical Director, the Accountable Care Organization (ACO) and the team ACO, this role is responsible for communication of ACO medical management strategies, clinical model, and ACO quality measurement/financial performance for the assigned ACO region to medical and operational leaders. As the Associate Medical Director you will be responsible for participating as a strategic clinical partner for One Care Vermont (OCV) ACO and will represent D-H and its ACO initiatives, programs, and activities to external organizations and customers.

The primary focus of this position will be D-H West including: D-H Keene, D-H Lebanon, D-H Bennington-Vermont, New London Hospital, Mt. Ascutney Hospital, Vermont, and any additional future affiliates in the NH West region.

Qualified applicants must be a graduate of an accredited medical school with at least five years of previous experience in a health care leadership role. Board certification and NH licensure and the willingness to continue an active clinical practice is required. The ability to relate to and deal effectively with physicians, administrators, support staff, and the general public with a high degree of tact and discretion is essential. Strong financial background and proven communication/presentation skills are preferred.
