The Division of Hematology/Oncology at the Penn State Hershey Cancer Institute, Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center seeks GU and GI Medical Oncologists. These are full-time faculty positions at the level of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full-Professor. Recruited faculty will join a vibrant and productive division of 35 faculty focused on Benign Hematology, Hematologic Malignancies, Solid Oncology, Genetic Counseling, Personalized Medicine, and Basic/Translational Research. Professional Qualifications: 1) MD or DO degree with board certification in Internal Medicine and sub-certification in Medical Oncology, 2) Academic rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full-Professor, 3) Experience in a cancer institute or academic health center with expertise in GU or GI Oncology and clinical research, 4) Expertise and commitment to Translational Research including investigator-initiated clinical trials, 5) Dedication to quality of patient care and patient satisfaction, 6) Experience in multi-institutional collaboration. Qualified candidates will develop clinical and/or translational research. Tenure track and Career Development Programs are available. The positions include direct patient care, teaching responsibilities, and research. The development of focused programs in clinical care and basic/translational research is a priority.
