OPPORTUNITY

BayCare Medical Group is seeking to employ a Cardiothoracic Surgeon to perform a full range of cardiothoracic procedures. Experience in assist devices (LVAD) required, certification preferred. Physician will join four Cardiac, Vascular, and Thoracic surgeons at their office located on the campus of Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, Florida. Our surgeons preform a comprehensive spectrum of state-of-the-art cardiovascular and thoracic surgery services for adult patients with complex surgical needs including Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG), Valve Repair and Replacement, complex aortic surgery, endovascular treatment of aneurysms, minimally invasive surgical procedures, and Arrhythmia Surgery.

Surgeon will be working with a talented team of physicians who performed the first Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) in the Tampa Bay Area and were founding members of the Valve Clinic Team at Morton Plant Hospital. Incoming physician will work closely with colleagues to continue to develop an excellent program.

 Position Requires:

-Board Certification in Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery or Board Eligibility if currently in fellowship training

-Experience in assist devices (LVAD) is required, certification preferred
