Barton Associates has a client in Michigan in need of a locum tenens general surgeon or trauma surgeon for a shift coverage need. This client is looking for a provider who can cover 7 shifts per month (8-10 hour shifts) handling call for the ED. The chosen provider will need to be able to see 8-10 surgical cases per shift, must be board certified and ACLS certified, and must be able to do general and trauma coverage, appendectomy, upper and lower GI, vent management, and central lines.
