Department of Nephrology searching for an Experienced Nephrologist

Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans is searching for an EXPERIENCED NEPHROLOGIST, ≥3 years out of Fellowship, to join our multispecialty group practice.

The Department of Nephrology offers a robust academic medical practice that consists of 13 nephrologists on staff. We are searching for an individual who enjoys patient care in a group practice setting, teaching students, residents, and fellows, and participating to enhance quality, safety, and outcomes. Our staff trains six fellows per year in an ACGME accredited fellowship training program. Candidates will be eligible for an academic appointment at the Ochsner Clinical School of the University of Queensland. The department is ranked among the top 50 nephrology departments in the country, by U.S. News & World Report’s 2015-16 Best Hospitals rankings. The Department of Nephrology at our main campus location provides a full range of services for patients with acute and chronic kidneys diseases, including interventional nephrology and outpatient hemodialysis at five satellite units. There is an active home therapies program, in which patients have the option of peritoneal dialysis or hemodialysis.
