The University of Kentucky College of Medicine is seeking to recruit a tenure-track faculty member (Assistant, Associate or Full Professor) who will have a joint appointment in the Division of Infectious Diseases in the Dept. of Internal Medicine and the Dept. of Microbiology, Immunology and Molecular Genetics.  The successful candidate should have an M.D. or an equivalent degree, and board certified or board eligible in infectious diseases with a strong research program that has active extramural grant support and complements interests in both units.  Physician scientists will be provided at least 75% protected time for research. The UK College of Medicine, a major regional Medical Center, offers competitive compensation based on rank and experience and an excellent benefits package. Additional information about the position and departments can be found at http://www.mc.uky.edu/microbiology/ and http://internalmedicine.med.uky.edu/im-infectious-diseases-division
