The NYU School of Medicine announces its search for the Chair of the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. The Dean and faculty consider this an exceptional opportunity to lead a preeminent institute in the City of New York in close collaboration with the other schools and colleges of New York University. The Chair of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry will drive the vision, strategy, and development of the Institute. The candidate will head research and recruitment efforts, as well as have demonstrated leadership skills. The selected Chair should have a distinguished record of scientific achievements, ability to foster collaborations, and ability to promote innovation and creativity. The successful candidate will have an MD and/or MD/PhD degree and will have demonstrated leadership experience in a university, medical center, or research institute setting.
