Deerfield Academy seeks a School Physician and Medical Director to start in August, 2016. ABOUT THIS POSITION:

Job Responsibilities: 
•    Oversee entirety of clinical care delivered through health services, providing high quality health care to Deerfield Academy students, including medical, nutritional, orthopedic, and psychiatric care.
•    Supervise the clinical activities of Health Center staff to ensure the provision of high quality care. 
•    Serve as clinical liaison between Health Center staff and faculty and administration.

Qualifications:
•    Doctor of Medicine (MD or DO) with ten years of experience practicing medicine
•    Education and training in family practice, pediatrics, or internal medicine/pediatrics.
•    Demonstrated interest and skill in working with adolescents and in multicultural competency
•    The interest, initiative, and energy to thrive with a lively and fast-paced workplace, a sense of humor, and the ability to work as part of a team. 
•    The desire to live and work in a residential academic community.
