The Oklahoma City Veterans Affairs Medical Center is seeking full-time board eligible/board certified Primary Care Physicians in Lawton, Oklahoma City, Ardmore, Stillwater, Oklahoma, and Wichita Falls, Texas.

The physician will work as a member of the disciplinary health care team, collaborating with other members of the team to provide medical care to veterans enrolled on the team. Outstanding candidates will be expected to demonstrate advance competencies and skills in assessing the physical and psychosocial status of the patients and members. Candidates will also play an active role in the multidisciplinary health care team, promote preventative measures, manage the acute and chronic conditions of his/her assigned panel of patients and patients assigned to other team members when circumstances requires.


  • US Citizenship. Non-citizens may be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.
  • Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine.
  • Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.

SALARY RANGE:  $97,987.00 TO $195,000

Applicant's education and length of practice (experience) will be considered by a Compensation Panel in determining the salary of the applicant selected.
