Mineola, Long Island, NY. The Division of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at NYU Winthrop Hospital is seeking a junior or middle level, full-time academic neonatologist.

NYU Winthrop Hospital is a Regional Perinatal Center (RPC), servicing Long Island Community with World Class Maternal-Fetal Medicine service and has 4500 deliveries annually. The Level IV NICU has an average daily census of 36 with extensive pediatric subspecialty support. The Neonatal Division has had a strong commitment to research, both with a dedicated basic science lab, and established clinical research program.

The Neonatal Research Translation Laboratory has relocated to a new $75 million Research and Academic Center at NYU Winthrop Hospital, designed to include core laboratories and clinical trial center. NYU Winthrop Hospital has been awarded Candidate Status for a new medical school expected to open in 2019.

Applicants for this position should be Board Eligible or Certified in neonatal-perinatal medicine.
