Chairperson, Department of Urology: Lenox Hill Hospital

As we expand our urological health services across Northwell Health, we are seeking a new Department of Urology Chairperson at Lenox Hill Hospital. This exciting position offers the opportunity to lead and continue to develop the department at LHH.

Mission position:

The Department of Urology at Northwell/Lenox Hill Hospital provides the very best in comprehensive urologic care in Manhattan and the metropolitan area. Our exceptional services include minimally-invasive treatment of the prostate, bladder, and kidneys.

The mission of the Department is to advance the frontiers of urologic care. Our urologic physicians, who are also faculty of the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell are instrumental in providing excellent quality care as well as developing novel education programs.

Qualifications:

• MD Degree or equivalent from an accredited College of Medicine.
• Completion of Residency with Board Certification or eligibility.
• Currently licensed as a physician in the State of New York.
• Outstanding communication and management skills and an ability to work collaboratively with medical staff and hospital management.
• Must possess recent experience in generally accepted and currently used methods and techniques.

Department of Urology

Northwell Health’s Arthur Smith Institute for Urology has seen tremendous growth over the past five years within Long Island, New York City, and Westchester; with the goal of providing comprehensive, integrated health care and wellness services. Our physicians have vast experience in minimally invasive procedures to treat all urologic diseases including those affecting the bladder, kidneys, male genitalia, and prostate.
