An eight-physician, Infectious Diseases practice in the Virginia suburbs of Washington, DC is looking for an energetic ID physician to join us. We maintain a busy census of inpatient consultations at a large community-based teaching hospital, including oncology, transplant, ICU, VAD/ECMO, and medical-surgical patients. We also run a busy office with an active IV infusion suite. We offer travel medicine, on-site clinical research, and an active HIV treatment program. In concert with our nurse practitioners, we also offer ID consults at several local nursing homes.
New associates will begin full-time work in the inpatient setting and expand to other areas of the practice, based on interest. Call schedule is usually one day a week and every 4th weekend. Comprehensive benefits include malpractice insurance, group short term disability, group health insurance, a CME allowance, and a retirement plan. Candidates must be Board certified or eligible in Infectious Diseases and licensed to practice medicine in Virginia. We do not offer Visa sponsorship.
