Digestive and Liver Disease Motility Program - Assistant Professor/Instructor Level Positions

Columbia University's Department of Medicine invites applications for a clinical faculty position based at the Milstein campus in Digestive and Liver Diseases Division's Motility Program. Candidates should have strong clinical and teaching qualifications. Applicants should be graduates of a GI Fellowship and advanced training in the treatment of patients with motility disorders. Responsibilities will include direct patient care, the supervision and teaching of house staff (residents and fellows), and medical students, active participation in Departmental activities, partners with senior leadership at the University and NYP. Will assist in identifying strategic opportunities, and implementation of improvements as needed.  Will actively identify and build referral relationships.

All candidates must have an MD or equivalent medical professional degree, must be board certified in Gastroenterology, and must be eligible to practice in the State of New York. Candidates must be credentialed to analyze high resolution esophageal Manometry, high resolution anorectal Manometry, ph/impedance testing, and wireless pH testing independently.
