Job Description:

Mclean Hospital is seeking fellows in medicine for on-site coverage of our consultation-liaison practice in general medicine, which provides clinical support for our inpatient and residential units on campus in Belmont. Responsibilities include medical clearances for admission, consultative care for co-morbid medical conditions, triage of unstable cases to ER departments, and provision of ACLS services as required. Appointments at McLean, at MGH as a graduate assistant in medicine and full credentialing through the MGPO will be secured in the process.

Requirements:

1. Applicants must be board certified in Internal Medicine or board eligible if just coming out of residency.
2. Requirements also include a full license from the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine, state and federal narcotics licenses, and ACLS certification.
3. Coverage must be on site with shifts from 7pm-7am on weekdays ($75.00/hr) and 9am-9am on weekends and holidays ($85/hr).
