The Duke University Eye Center in Durham, North Carolina is accepting applications for a highly qualified, full-time, fellowship-trained vitreoretinal surgeon to join the collegial Vitreoretinal Surgery and Disease faculty in the Department of Ophthalmology.  Candidates must have successfully completed a fully accredited ophthalmology residency training program and be board certified or eligible by the American Board of Ophthalmology. Applicants should have also completed a fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery and disease.

This position requires excellent clinical and surgical skills, a dedication to academic retina, and dedication to teamwork and professional growth. The faculty member will be expected to engage in teaching of vitreoretinal fellows and ophthalmology residents as well as research activities. Post-fellowship work experience is preferred but not required.  Faculty rank will be determined by experience and credentials.
