Locums Psychiatrist Need in MN
Near Minneapolis MN
September and ongoing *possible perm placement Mon-Fri; 8-5
Qualifications: BC (or willing to work towards it).
Can diagnose mental health
Willing to obtain suboxone waiver if doesn't have in hand
8-13 patients per day. Admission are done by hospitalists; provider is responsible for a combination of new patient and ongoing evaluations
Admissions and discharges are scheduled
24 bed inpatient unit; 14 bed medical withdrawal unit
Unit runs at 100% occupancy
Call responsibility but very low level (phone only). Provider will be second line of defense in call scenario
Support staff includes: nurses, licensed drug and alcohol counselors, chaplains, psychology, Hospital medicine providers.
Will issue emergency privs. Estimated time frame is 30 days from submitting required docs
