Locums OBGYN need in Minnesota
Schedule: ASAP Start date - ongoing need
Tue-Fri 8-5
Job Details: Delivery volumes are around 300 per year/ about 1 low risk delivery per day (anything 34 weeks and less will be shipped out)
Level 1 Nursery
Reason for locum: locum coverage for the interim while they recruit a full time provider.
Client prefers to have one Provider cover the whole need, not multiple Physicians working part time.
Daily patient volume in the Clinic: (aside from births) Average is probably around 20 patients per day
24/7 access to perinatologist
Common procedures: Colposcopy and IUDs are probably the most frequent procedures. Also do less frequent LEEPs and endometrial biopsies. Do they have midwives or nurse practitioners? No. There are about 3 family practice providers who see prenatal patients and do deliveries. The Ob/Gyns are collaborative physicians for this team.
Is Anesthesia in house or on pager call? Pager
