The Duke University Division of Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care Medicine is seeking a Pulmonary physician with special interest in Academic Sleep Medicine to join the faculty. The selected individual must be board certified/board eligible in pulmonary medicine and sleep medicine and will have demonstrated success in their career in an academic center, with an interest in further career development in a premier academic practice and clinical research setting.
Responsibilities will include staffing outpatient clinics, interpretation of sleep studies and participation in clinical research studies. The position is mainly clinical, but research is encouraged and independent funding is not a pre-requisite for appointment. Candidates with extra-mural funding are encouraged to apply who are interested in continuing independent clinical, translational, or basic research and in caring for patients with sleep disorders. Successful candidates will participate in our ACGME-accredited fellowship programs in Sleep Medicine and Pulmonary/Critical Care.
