The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and UMass Memorial Medical Center seeks a BC/BE academic cardiac electrophysiologist to join a robust and growing program. The Heart and Vascular EP service provides outpatient and inpatient care for a wide variety of arrhythmia and device patients. We perform device implantation as well as lead extraction and perform 500 ablation procedures annually. Mid- and early-career candidates with a strong record of academic accomplishment and clinical excellence with interest in clinical research are desired for appointment to the level of Assistant or Associate Professor.

Located in Central Massachusetts, just 40 miles west of Boston, Worcester is the second largest city in New England. Worcester and the surrounding area have a strong and diverse economic base with family oriented communities offering excellent school systems.
