A Virginia clinic is in search of a geriatrician who is able to provide locum tenens coverage for three months, beginning in late-August with a possible extension. The locum will be tasked with seeing 15 to 22 geriatric patients each day who are on or looking to receive Medicare coverage. The provider will be approving admissions and Medicare re-certification as well as administering care for chronic disease management, medication management, and general ailments. The client is seeking a locum who can work eight-hour days each week between the hours of 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. and will allow the locum to choose the five days they prefer. This facility uses the Gerimed EMR platform and will provide training.
