BAYLOR COLLEGE OF MEDICINE

Baylor College of Medicine seeks qualified applicants for a clinician-educator at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the Section of Infectious Disease, Department of Medicine. Applicants must be board certified in Internal Medicine and board certified or board eligible in adult Infectious Diseases and possess or be eligible for a Texas Medical License. The successful candidate will have experience in or dedicated fellowship training in transplant infectious diseases as well as strong interest in clinical education. The candidate is expected to participate in clinical and educational activities, including inpatient consultation services, outpatient clinic, and weekly educational conferences. This position will have responsibilities for inpatient and outpatient clinical care at the Faculty Group Practice in the Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center and the McNair Clinic with immunocompromised patients, especially solid organ transplant recipients. Research activity is welcome. This is a great opportunity to provide leadership in a growing transplant infectious diseases program. Incoming rank will be based on training, academic scholarship, and previous experience.
