The Division of Cardiology at Columbia University Medical Center seeks highly qualified applicants for a one-year position in their Advanced Echocardiography Fellowship Program starting July 1, 2019. Pre-requisites for the program include successful completion of an ACGME-accredited cardiology fellowship and achievement of level II training in echocardiography.
The Advanced Echocardiography fellowship is a one-year program offering training in all aspects of echocardiography in a high-volume laboratory at one of the nation’s leading cardiology centers. Advanced echocardiography fellows will satisfy the requirements of level III training through performance and interpretation of transesophageal, transthoracic, and stress echocardiography. Fellows will also develop skill in 3D imaging and have exposure to intra-procedural echocardiography while working with the structural imaging team. In addition to clinical training, there are tremendous opportunities for learning and mentorship from distinguished faculty through attending-led case discussions, journal clubs, and echo conferences.
To apply, please send cover letter and curriculum vitae to: Kerry A. Esquitin, MD, FACC, RPVI, Director of the Advanced Echocardiography Fellowship Program, kad2136@cumc.columbia.edu
