A correctional facility in Connecticut is looking for a primary care physician who can provide locum tenens coverage on an ongoing basis. This position will have the locum seeing inmates for chart review, medication renewals, and general "walk-in" cases. This position has full-time hours where the locum will work 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday with time split between two nearby facilities. On a typical day the locum can expect to see 20 - 25 patients. Paper charting is used in place of an EMR system.
