An Indiana hospital is currently seeking a thoracic surgeon who can provide locum tenens coverage for one week in September. The locum will see one to four adult patients per day for cases including cardiac valve replacement, aneurysms, and bypass and will work alongside a full support staff. The client is seeking someone who can work a 24-hour shifts that run from 7 a.m. to 7 a.m. the following day and will be available to perform surgeries on consults if absolutely necessary. This facility uses Cerner EMR and will provide training.
