A Barton Associates client is seeking a family practice physician who can provide locum tenens telemedicine coverage for six months with a chance of extension. The client has needs for this position in multiple states. Throughout this assignment, the provider can expect to perform up to 50 assessments per day on adult patients for cases involving allergies, asthma, body aches, bronchitis, cold and flu, insomnia, skin conditions, and sore throats. The client will allow the locum to work a flexible schedule, with the only requirement being that they perform assessments within 48 hours of receiving a patient's chart. The majority of the provider's work will involve lab work and charting which is done through a telehealth platform that the client will provide training for.
