The Weill Department of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine and NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center has initiated a national search for the position of Chief of the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism, and Director of the Joan and Sanford I. Weill Center for Metabolic Health. The new incumbent will be a recognized physician-investigator and will have a broad mandate to grow all missions of the Division and will be afforded significant resources to build a thriving Center for Metabolic Health to be located in Weill Cornell’s state-of-the-art Belfer Research Building. The Division has comprehensive programs across the disease spectrum and is centered in one of the nation’s most comprehensive academic health care delivery systems with collaborative ties to our parent university, Cornell University, and neighboring premier institutions including Rockefeller University and MSKCC.

Candidates should have an MD or MD/PhD; strong leadership, mentoring, and interpersonal skills; a dynamic vision for the development of programs of preeminence; and a track record of success as an investigator, leader, and mentor.
