A clinic in Alabama is seeking a family practice physician who can provide five days of locum tenens coverage, beginning July 30th. The provider will see approximately 40 patients each day, with half being scheduled and the other half walk-ins. The provider will perform routine exams as well as see cases involving general illness, hypertension, and diabetes. The provider will be responsible for prescribing common medications, Adderall, Ritalin, and narcotics, and should have experience being the sole provider in a facility. The locum will work Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and will not be on call. This facility uses Meditech EHR and will provide training.
